Flydubai Gets Its AOC
Flydubai, supported by AirScript, has gained its AOC. AirScript provided flydubai with a full suite of Operations Manuals and other manuals in its popular E-Script format and we produced all the submissions for operational approvals to the GCAA.
In addition, AirScript’s team of specialists designed and implemented flydubai’s Network Control Centre, established flight crew and cabin crew training programmes and designed a sophisticated Class 1 EFB system utilising Evoke Systems latest EFOS:EFB software.
AirScript’s team supported flydubai along every step of the path to the AOC, often providing an effective interface with the GCAA and Boeing based on our experience as regulators ourselves. On granting the AOC, Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the UAE GCAA commented:
“flydubai’s operator's certificate was obtained after a complete set of manuals, instructions and procedures was approved by the GCAA. The GCAA is staffed with industry professionals who have an extensive history of assessment and evaluation and the manuals that flydubai submitted contain instructions, training programs and guidance to cover safety issues, as well as the function of flight attendants, maintenance personnel, pilots and management. As you would expect, there is a very rigid requirement of checks and balances to ensure strict compliance with regulations.
Everything that flydubai has submitted has been of the very highest quality and we are delighted to award them their operator's licence.”
AirScript is delighted that the services we provided were singled out for the Director General’s comments.
