Nick is AirScript’s cabin configuration and safety equipment specialist. Before joining the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority in 1973, Nick worked for Pan American Airways and Aer Lingus.
Nick became involved in Cabin Safety issues in the early 1980s and was a founder member of the CAA’s Cabin Safety Working Group and was later appointed as Head of the CAA’s Cabin Safety Office.
Nick has been a member of national and international Working Groups, including many under JAA and EASA and, for more than 20 years, Nick has been involved with aircraft certification issues, mainly in respect of emergency evacuation, including being Chairman of the A380 JOEB Cabin Crew Subgroup.
Nick’s contribution to cabin safety in the UK and Europe is unparalleled.
