Type Rating Training Organisation (TRTO)
AirScript can provide your TRTO with advice and support on how to meet the requirements of JAR-FCL and similar requirements. We can provide you with both the TRTO Operations Manual and Quality Manual and we can also provide you with advice on an appropriate structure, methods and processes that will lead to a new TRTO Approval or an upgrade to an existing approval.
Flight Crew Training
Though not a training organisation itself, AirScript can provide you with advice on flight crew training packages that meet regulatory requirements. We can provide you with a Training Manual (Operations Manual Part D) tailored to your type and scale of operation whether that is private, corporate or airline, and we can recommend and arrange training providers to meet the requirements of JAR-FCL and EU-OPS.
Cabin Crew Training
In addition to providing a Cabin Crew Training Manual specifically tailored to the nature and scale of your operation and the type(s) of aircraft operated, AirScript can arrange for cabin crew training with leading providers or, for smaller sized operations, we can conduct the training ourselves.
Unlike some examples of cabin crew training provided elsewhere, all cabin crew training arranged or provided by AirScript is based on your aircraft and the equipment it carries. We work with your cabin crew department and managers to provide training that enhances the safety of your operation and inspires the confidence of your clients and passengers.
Operations Personnel Training
Whatever the systems you deploy on the ground for the control and supervision of your operation, AirScript can train your staff in management and dispatch systems. Such systems might include aircraft performance applications, data management and navigation services.
Future Developments
AirScript believes that the traditional means of conducting some types of initial and recurrent ground-based training is inefficient, costly and time consuming. Bringing your crew members to a training facility and delivering training by means of “chalk and talk” or CBT is costly for the roster and makes management of cyclical training difficult.
Recognising this, in association with our partner companies, AirScript is developing web-based training packages that do not require a crew member’s attendance at a training facility and that can be conducted at a time of the operator’s and crew member’s choice. In addition, this training will include examination modules that include automatic marking or assessment and, if you have web-based hosting of your Operations Manuals, these can be integrated with your existing Operations manual material.
Training packages will be available to cover subjects such as ETOPS, RVSM, RNAV, TCAS, GPWS, Winter Operations, Dangerous Goods and all those other topics for which there is a requirement to conduct regular training that is always difficult to accommodate. Cabin crew topics will be available too.
